Marilu Holmes

Actor, AD, Producer, Writer, and Director Marilu Garbi is a Venezuelan-born filmmaker, writer, and performer whose work spans across journalism, film, and the performing arts. With a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the Universidad Central de Venezuela and an Associate of Applied Science in Film and TV Production, Marilu has cultivated a diverse career that reflects her passion for storytelling and the arts. Not only being an active member of the local community improv group, but she has also been involved award winning short films in various capacities including, Thinking Out Loud (2017), Roses Are Blind (2018), In Tango (2019), Father Nose Best (2024), Oblivious (2024), and Dine and Dash (2024).
